Spectra provides you with three production types to start with but you can add others, for example "Restoration Order." Go to Maintenance > Production > Production Order Types.
Production Order Type Maintenance
Description - Enter a description of the type of order as it has meaning for your studio.
Sort Order - Enter a number (01, 02, 03... 10, etc) for the order you want the order types to appear in. You'll probably want to put the order you use the most at the top so when a new order is created, that will be the type chosen by default.
Print or Generic order - If you want to use digital imaging functionality in the order, then choose Print Order. If no images will be associated with the type, then just use Generic Order.
Inactive - If you have a type that you no longer use, mark it as inactive and it will no longer show up in the order type list. If an order type has been used in a production order previously, it cannot be deleted and will need to be marked as inactive if you no longer want to use it.
