Wizard Builder

Spectra is well known for its easy-to-use wizards to help you quickly and accurately enter data into the program. The Wizard Builder allows you customize these wizards to better suit the way your studio operates.

  1. Click Tools > Wizard Builder. Select the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to select the Wizard that you want to modify.

  2. Expand Branches - Click the plus signs next to the pages that you want to open up to see more pages.

  3. Properties and Options - For each page in the Wizard you can modify the Page Header that appears at the top of each page. For example, on the Client information page, you can put a note to be sure you get the client's email address. You can also require that some information be put in by using Data Validations.

  4. Hide/Show Pages - You can also choose to hide certain pages that may not pertain to your studio.

  5. Required Pages - Certain pages are required by the Wizard and cannot be hidden. However, a lot of those pages will have control options to set which choice you would like to have for default. For example, if your studio rarely creates a session fee invoice, then you can set the default to Don't Create an Invoice at this Time.

  6. Close the form by clicking the X in the upper right corner.
