Select Settings from the Finale ribbon to open the settings menu.

Login Info:

  • Auto Start - Have Finale automatically begin processing queued jobs upon start up.
  • Auto Login - Have Finale save your login credentials and automatically log your user into Finale upon start up. This setting will apply to that workstation only.
  • Locations (Enterprise Only) - Select for these settings to apply to All Locations or a Single Location.
Hours of Operation:
  • Start Time/End Time - Select the Start and End Time for Finale to be able to run.
Rendering Options:
  • Max Memory Usage - Select the maximum amount of memory Finale can use while running the render/print jobs. We recommend setting this to the maximum amount unless the server that will be running StudioPlus Finale will also be running other large programs at the same time.
  • Max Concurrent Jobs - Select the maximum number of Render Jobs that can run at the same time.
PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS...

For determining how many jobs can run concurrently, we recommend using the following formula that is based on your computer specifications:

Number of Processors x Number of Cores = Number of Concurrent Jobs

For instance, a computer that has only one processor and a dual core should use the formula as follows:

1 Processor x 2 Cores = 2 Concurrent Jobs

  • Enable Debugging - Provides additional information on StudioPlus Finale. This checkbox should ONLY be checked under the direction of a StudioPlus Technician.
