The next step in the Digital Workflow process is to produce images. There are options in the software to send your image files to your lab via CD or FTP, deliver them electronically, or print them internally. You may move your production orders through different statuses at this stage, Order Entered, Sent to Lab, Order Received from Lab, etc.

1. Once you have created a production order and completed retouching and rendering the images, you are ready to send them to your lab. See also: Creating a Production Order, Retouching Images, and Rendering Images

2. Determine if your vendor prefers a CD or an FTP —  the software can create either one.

3. Follow the instructions in Sending Images to a Lab.
