System out of memory - Part 1

This topic will cover the "System Out of Memory" error messages.

You can see this error, or one similar to it,  in any RAM intensive part of the software.  If the error shows the text in red above, it means the computer has used all its available memory.  To fix this error:

1.  Close all open applications
2.  Click on
Start > Power > Shut Down.  This is the same way you'd restart the computer, but select Shut Down instead of Restart.
3.  Wait until all lights on the computer, not the monitor, are off - this means it has completely shut down.
4.  Wail 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

If you get this error often, you may want to only have one or two memory intensive applications running.  A few of those are:

1.  Photoshop and Lightroom
2.  Any streaming music app
3.  Having Chrome tabs open - each tab uses it's own set of memory
4.  Windows Updates that are waiting to be installed
