myStratus Maps

NOTE: This feature is available in the Standard, Professional, and Enterprise versions of myStratus Desktop. Spectra does not include this feature.

Use the myStratus Maps service to instantly get a feel for where your clients are located! You can choose to break the data down by addresses, zip codes, or even display a heat map to show where your client-base is more concentrated. Using Maps can be a great tool to see which towns or suburbs your clients are coming from. Where should you target your marketing? Where should you conduct your next “Day in the Park” or other on-location photo shoot? Where should you open a branch studio? What towns are the majority of your High School Senior coming from?”

Setting up myStratus Maps

1. Click here to view pricing and sign up for myStratus Maps.
2. Upon receiving confirmation the service has been added to your account, simply close out of myStratus and re-open to see the new options.

You will be billed per mapping request. There are two kinds of requests as follows:

  1. Location Look-up: This is the request for the system to find the geographic location of the client. If a client’s location has been looked up previously, they will not count as a request.
  2. Map Look-up: This is the request to create an overall map of the selected clients.

As an example, if you’re looking up a Heat Map for 1,000 clients, you will be billed for 1,001 requests (1,000 clients + 1 map creation).

Using myStratus Maps

After being activated, three new options will be available in each of the data hubs. First, pull up the set of clients you would like to view on the map. Note, the maps have a maximum number of clients allowed (see below). Then select which map you'd like to view and it will populate on the right-hand side of the hub. If a client has an invalid address, or a blank address, they will be omitted from the mapping.

Heat Map - View this map to see where a concentration of the selected set of clients are located. This map can view up to 10,000 clients at a time.

Pin Map by Zip Code - View this map to see how many of the selected set of clients belong in each zip code and where they're located. This map can view up to 1,000 clients at a time.

Pin Map by Address - View this map to see the addresses for the selected set of clients on the map. This map can view up to 1,000 clients at a time.
