Session Promotions

NOTE: This feature is available in the Standard, Professional, and Enterprise versions of both Spectra and myStratus Desktop.

Session promotions are used at the session level to help you track revenue for specific promotions. Create multiple promotions and then select the appropriate one(s) when booking a session. See also: Using Session Promotions

Setting up Session Promotions

  1. Go to Maintenance > Session > Session Promotions to open your list of session promotions.

  2. Click New to create a new promotion.

  3. Complete the following:

    • Description - Type the name of the promotion.

    • Promo Code - Give the promotion a code. If you use a lot of promotions, using the Auto-Sort by Promo Code on the ribbon will make it easier to find what you're looking for.

    • Start Date/End Date [optional] - Enter a start/end date if the promotion should only be available for a limited time. The promotion will only be listed on sessions within the specified time period.

    • Show Online - Check this box to allow Clients to select this Promotion when scheduling through Online Booking. See also: Setting up Online Booking

  4. Close the window when finished.
