Home > Production > Production Maintenance > Production Order TypesProduction Order Types
The software provides you with three production order types to start with but you can add others, for example "Restoration Order" or "Sports/Event Order."
Follow these steps to set up your production order types:
Click New to add a new line and complete the following:
Description - Enter a description that has meaning for your business.
Print or Generic Order - If you want to use digital imaging functionality on the order, choose Print Order. If no images will be associated with the type, just use Generic Order.
The following editing options are also available, either on the ribbon or directly from the grid:
Delete a Type - Highlight the type and click Delete on the ribbon.
Change the Order of the List - Highlight a type and use the Move Up and Move Down tools on the ribbon.
Make a Type Inactive - Check the Inactive box to hide a type you are no longer using (but may not want to delete). Note: If a production order type has been used on a production order previously, it cannot be deleted and will need to be marked as inactive if you no longer want to use it.
You may also want to:
Hide Inactive Types - Click Hide Inactive on the ribbon to hide (or reveal) any inactive types.
Print the List - Click Print on the ribbon to generate a printed report of your production order types.
Export to PDF/Excel - Click one of the export buttons to export your list of production order types.
Close the window when finished.
