FAQ:  How can I get my images retouched outside of the studio?

ATTENTION! This FAQ will cover how to do this for Sessions, the idea is the same for Production Orders statuses.

Using the Stratus Drive as a cloud storage drive, Stratus can automatically get the images to the Retoucher's, and once retouched, get them back to the studio, all behind the scenes.  The first thing needed is to decide if it's the Session or the Production Order that needs to be retouched.  You can find more info on that here. 

In addition, you'll need to set up some Session Statuses that will let Stratus know what needs to be either uploaded or downloaded, and which images will be processed.  You can find more info on this here, step 2.

Example workflow for Sessions

1.  Session Statuses:  Make these clear so you really know what the status is suppose to be doing

   • "Session Pending"
   • "Image Capture Pending"
   • "Sales Presentation Pending"
   • "Upload to Retouch Pending"
   • "Download to Retoucher"
   • "Upload from Retoucher"
   • "Retouching Complete"
   • and so on

2. Set up the Control Center to Upload / Download the images:  Provided the Session Statuses are clearly defined, this should be a simple process of setting up Control Center Jobs.

• Go to Utilities > Control Center 
3. If this is the first time setting up jobs, there will be one "Stratus Drive Image Upload" 


4.
