Creating or Modifying Shipping Methods

1. In Stratus, go to Maintenance > InSpiredByYou > Shipping Methods.

   

2. To add a shipping method, click New on the ribbon. A new line will appear at the bottom of the list. 

3. In the Description column, enter the description you want your clients to see when placing an online order.

4. Enter the dollar amount and press Tab.

5. Add or modify additional shipping methods and then close the shipping method list when finished.

6. Run the InSpiredByYou Synchronizer on the Tools menu to sync your shipping method changes to InSpiredByYou. See also: Syncing Stratus and InSpired

Choosing a Default Shipping Method

When placing an online order, your clients will be able to choose any of your available shipping methods, but you can choose a default shipping method that will automatically be selected when they begin the checkout process. Follow these steps to choose the default shipping method for online orders:

1. In Stratus, go to Maintenance > Preferences > InSpiredByYou Preferences and click on the Shipping tab.

   

2. Choose the default shipping method for online orders from the drop-down list.

3. Click OK to save your preferences.

4. Run the InSpiredByYou Synchronizer on the Tools menu to sync your changes to InSpiredByYou. See also: Syncing Stratus and InSpired
