Using Email Types

To organize your emails, you may create your own email types in Stratus.

Setting Up Email Types

Before you can use email types to organize your emails, you will need to create your email types in Stratus. 
  1. Go to Maintenance > Communication > Email Types to open your list of email types.

  2. Click New to add a type or just start typing a description in the first line.

  3. To maintain your email type list, you may also want to:

    • Delete a Email Type -  Highlight the type and click Delete on the ribbon.

    • Rearrange the List - Highlight an email type and use the Move Up and Move Down tools on the ribbon.

    • Hide Inactive Types - Click Hide Inactive on the ribbon to hide (or reveal) any inactive email types.

    • Print the List - Click Print on the ribbon to generate a printed report of your email types.

    • Export the List to Excel - Click Export to Excel to export an Excel file that you can download.

  4. Close the email type list when finished.

Updating Email Statuses

Follow these steps to change the status of an email:

  1. Open the email.

  2. Click the down arrow on the Email Status line and choose a difference status from the list.  

  3. Click Save & Close on the ribbon to finish updating the email.
